Aston Hill Announces the Resignation of a Director

CALGARY, March 5, 2009 – Aston Hill Financial Inc. (the "Company" or "Aston Hill”) (TSXV: AHF) announces the resignation of Mr. Bruce Fiell as Director of the Company and its related committees.  Mr. Fiell has accepted a position with a competing financial firm which, regrettably, may have put him in conflict with Aston Hill’s business activities.

Mr. Fiell was elected to the Board at the company’s Annual General Meeting on May 29, 2008, and served on the company’s Audit, Governance and Nomination Committees.  The Board of Directors thank Mr. Fiell for all his contributions over the past year and wish him the best in his new endeavour.
